Funny or money?
You are single and have narrowed your search for love down to two people. They are both similar in almost every way, but there are two major differences between them:

One is financially well off to the point that you would never have to work again if you married them, but they have no sense of humor. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

The other makes a meager living so you would have to work to make ends meet, but they have the ability to make you laugh and smile every single day.

Who would you pick?

laughing. all. the . way.

I don't mind work. I do mind people that can't laugh.

11/20/2008 9:28:32 AM   From:  emkay64   I know how to work. I'll take the one that makes me laugh. No humor=no chance for me.
11/20/2008 9:31:14 AM   From:  mercury   the funny guy always wins.
11/20/2008 10:01:43 AM   From:  emkay64   TJ--Which one are you? Hopefully Tami doesn't share your outlook :P
11/20/2008 10:02:00 AM   From:  Ali   I don't mind making an honest living, so I don't care about gobs of money.

But a man who can't laugh at himself, the world around him, or me is a deal breaker for sure. Grumpiness stinks.
11/20/2008 10:03:21 AM   From:  Ali   People who hang around with cheaters are as bad and immoral as the cheaters themselves....or so we've been told.
11/20/2008 11:34:28 AM   From:  timesjoke   Sarcasm is lost on more then just me it seems......

In my opinion all that matters is love.

Funny/non funny, fat/skinny, rich/poor, tall/short, smart/stupid, there is no perfect person to set your goals to.

If your busy creating limitations and exclusions to what your willing to love then there is a good chance you will always miss your chance of ever finding it.
11/20/2008 11:55:49 AM   From:  eddo   me thinks the irony police are on their way...
11/20/2008 12:11:22 PM   From:  timesjoke   I refuse to watch reality shows because I think they are about as shallow as it gets for entertainment but I remember the girls in the office once talking about a show of who wants to marry a millionare where the guy was not rich, the girls (in the show) all thought he was rich and after the 'winner' found out the truth of his being poor she bailed on him faster than you can blink.

I remember getting into a discussion with them about how a man's financial stability was part of himself and every bit as important as everything else when considering dating him. They of course were careful to say it was not really about "material wealth".
11/20/2008 1:08:06 PM   From:  MrsK   Can't I just have a harem?
11/20/2008 1:30:45 PM   From:  wildbob   I would choose the sense of humor. Life's too short to not have as many laughs as possible.
11/20/2008 6:16:35 PM   From:  Rani   Funny!
11/20/2008 8:27:10 PM   From:  Purple Skies   I'd marry the rich one and keep the funny one as side fun and to share the wealth with....kidding, I'd take the joker
